No one is perfect — and the sooner we stop pretending otherwise, the sooner we can stop using that impossible standard as a weapon against each other. Imperfecto #2 is Jumper Maybach’s second meditation on that truth: a painting that asks us to set down the habit of judgment and pick up something more useful — tolerance, curiosity, and the understanding that the imperfections we see in others are mirrors of the ones we carry ourselves. Created during the artist’s 2014 exhibition at Villa Pisani National Museum in Italy, this 20" × 24" work in acrylic mixed media carries the weight of a message that has never been more urgent: learn to tolerate everyone during this lifetime, so the next life will be harmonious.
