"Monkey caged " is in honor of "Tango" the monkey who we all loved at the circus. Tango is painted in his cage because he loves to retreat into it so that he may escape from us humans. He used his cage as his apartment safe place and would shut the door on the carnies so we could not enter. Tango was an amusing fellow. Jumper gives life to him in this painting and captures his life force for eternity.
